不要忙于开始从A打头的字母背起。你应该先花一点时间，将英语大纲中的单词快速"过滤"一下。目的是为后面着重重点、难点词汇做准备。有针对性的开始复习要不盲目的复习更省时间。而且也不会因为总是停留在A打头的单词区而"审美疲劳"。
做完准备工作后，统计一下不认识的词。这应该能代表你个人的一个实际的情况了。鲁迅先生曾说过，"时间如海绵里的水，想挤总是有的"。利用每天零散时间，把单词记在纸片上。建议以一个星期为一个周期。例如你有2000个单词不认识，每天把总结出的不认识的单词抄到纸片上，每张20个单词(根据你纸张的大小来定)。在纸片正面写上单词，把最常用的一两个中文意思抄在纸片背面。接下来你的任务就是背烂为止。一天挤一个小时，10天以后，你会发现，一部分单词已经在你的看似无意中被"吸收"。其实，很多时候，大家不是没有办法，而是不愿意把好的办法付诸行动，而且不能够做到持之以恒。
